Bloch's Adult "Pro Elastic" Canvas Ballet Shoes is the ultimate choice for dancers seeking comfort, flexibility, and support. These split sole ballet flats feature pre-sewn elastic straps and wide flat elastic in place of traditional binding and drawstring closures.

The "Pro Elastic" ballet shoes feature a canvas upper with an elastic piece that replaces the binding and drawstring. This innovative design allows the elastic to contour the foot in a full range of movement, providing a secure and snug fit. Additionally, it evenly distributes tension around the foot, relieving pressure on the Achilles tendon and ensuring maximum comfort during long hours of practice or performance. The split sole construction enhances flexibility and articulation, enabling dancers to move with ease and precision.

Whether you're practicing in the studio or performing on stage, Bloch "Pro Elastic" Canvas Ballet Slippers offer the perfect combination of style and functionality.

Features:

  • Pre-sewn crossed instep elastics
  • Triangle canvas arch insert that hugs the foot when pointing
  • Forefoot outsole pad shaped to protect the metatarsals
  • No ridges that may cause bruising when weight bearing on forefoot
  • We recommend choosing two sizes down from your women's street shoe size. For Tweens/youth we recommend choosing the same size as you

Fabric:

  • Upper: Canvas; Sole: Leather; Lining: Cotton

Any chance I could get 8.5 in this shoe, even though not listed online??

I just ordered a size 8C, which seems to be the largest size you have in several of the Bloch shoes. It's just a bit too tight. I wear size 10 medium mostlysometimes have to size up in street shoesboots.

I'm very sorry but at this time larger sizes in this shoe are not available.

Is there a big difference in the CD

We have a child who needs 2 different shoe sizes for her feet. One being a little biggerwider than the other. What is the difference from a cd? a size 3b fits perfect for left foot but we need a wider shoe for right.

There is approximately 1/4" difference between the C and D width.

    Stretchy Canvas?

Is this canvas stretchy like in the Bloch Synchrony ballet flats? I have a pair of those, but I love the idea of the elastic insert like these have. Also how does the rest of the shoe differ from the Synchrony?

    What size do I order?

My daughter wears a child size 1-1.5 . In the zenith adult, she wears a size three. What size would I order in these? Thanks

This shoe will be difficult to fit for your daughter. We would first have to convert to her adult size, which would be a 3.0 or 3.5. From there, you have to follow the size suggestion for adults which is to order 2 to 3 sizes smaller. The smallest size this shoe comes in is an adult 2.0, so it may be a half to full size too large for her.
    - DDS Customer Service (01/31/2014)

My daughter also wears a 1-1.5 and in these shoes she is wearing a 2 BUT they are a little big and she has room to grow. They are about a size too big so a 1 would probably be better. - Lorib (04/14/2014)

What is the pink color like?

I've owned pink leather Bloch slippers before and the pink color is a bit too dark. Do these match tights?

The pink on this slipper is a bit darker than your average pink ballet slipper. It should match well with Bloch brand tights in Ballet Pink.
    - DDS Customer Service (10/28/2013)

I have two pairs of these - an older pair that I recently put in the washing machine, and a brand-new pair. I noticed yesterday that the older pair is quite close to the color of my tights (a very light pink), while the new pair is a more saturated shade and has a little more peach in it. Maybe if you really want the lighter shade, you could put them through the washing machine? I guess this also depends on the shade of tights you are wearing. (I have Theatricals and Capezo.) - Gradstudent (02/10/2014)

My daughter has the Bloch pink leather ballet shoes. And these canvas ones are essentially the same color as those. Perhaps just a tiny shade lighter, or maybe hers are just dirtier! But basically they are the same color. And her tights are probably a few shades lighter than her shoes. But some of the girls in her class have a different brand of tights and those match in color. - Texasmom (09/27/2014)

Nope. These do not match pink tights. They are really a dark fleshy pink. Although it used to look really good (and match) when new, my friends and I's last pairs have been really awkward and dark. - Dancer421198 (01/27/2015)

My shoes are close to the color of ballet pink theatricals tights. It's not a light pink, such as a Russian Pointe shoe, but has a bit more of a skin tone color to them, while still being pink. I found them to be a bit "darker" but not too dark for me. But if you're wanting something on the lighter side, these may be a bit too dark. - Emilee (02/17/2015)

What are the measurements for a B, C, and D?

Do they define these by width of the foot in inches, centimeters, other? Just wondering so that I can measure and get a proper fit.

Suggested Fitting: Women order 2-3 sizes smaller than street size This information is shown as a guide only and not a guarantee. Actual fitting may vary For Width: B- NARROW C- MEDIUM D- WIDE
    - DDS Customer Service (10/15/2013)

I have thin small feet so I got a size B. It should be small to medium to large. However the elastic of the shoe was very tight on my feet. - Diane568 (03/23/2014)

A B is a narrow foot. D is a wide or thick foot and C is just average. No measurements on that. - Lorib (04/14/2014)

What do the letters (B,C,D) stand for? If its the width, which would be more narrow? Does it refer t

B- narrow width C- medium width D- wide width
    - DDS Customer Service (11/16/2012)

The letters B,C,D stand for the width of the shoe, referring the the front of the shoe like pointe shoe fittings. The B fitting would be the most narrow, going up from there. Hope this helps! :) - Miaballerina (12/14/2012)

how do these shoes run? they are for my son who wears size 11 men

Suggested fitting for this shoe for women in 2-3 sizes down from street shoe, so men would order same to one size down from street, however this shoe is only available to a women's size 8, see alternate suggestions S1C, 2020, 2021 and MCP
    - DDS Customer Service (10/31/2012)

They are true to the size chart....2.5 to 3 sizes smaller than size 11 would be 8 or 8.5. But boys have much wider feet so be sure to order a D. I think they only come in flesh and pink but not white or black. The elastics are tight too so depending on how thick and wide his foot is, they could be a little tight since you don't sew the elastics yourself. - Lorib (04/14/2014)
