My child needs new jazz shoes and she wears a 2.5 or 3.0 (on the big size) street shoe. The child size jazz shoes stop at size 1.5 and the adults start at 4, what size should I order her? Are the 1.5 sizes equivalent to a larger size or are they true 1.5? Im confused as to why the 2's and 3's are skipped?
In order convert from child to adult sizing, you need to add two sizes. The child size stops at a size 1.5, so the size 2.0 in children's equates to the size 4.0 in adult. Since your daughter is wearing a 2.5-3.0, you will want to order a 4.5-5.0 in the adult version of this shoe.
