The 1816 is comparable to the 1916. The difference in the two is the waistband. The 1816 has an elastic waistband and the 1916 has a Self Knit waistband. - DDS Customer Service (05/29/2024)

Ballet pink is our more popular color in this specific item. The colors can, and will, differ per manufacturer but for this particular pair of tights, ballet pink would be the more appropriate choice. Does anyone know what the waistband is like on these tights?
We have some ballet tights where the waistband is made out of a material similar to the tights and our other ones have a piece of elastic for the waistband, which stands out a lot more under the leotard and is not as comfortable. What type of waistband do these have? Is it one similar to the ones on Spanx?

These have an elastic waist band, that can be seen through most leotards. However the waist band is softer on these tights then other brands we have tried. - Makennasmom (12/11/2013)
