If I can't wear elastics, and my point shoes always slip off my heels when I dance, will this produc

This product is generally used on the soles and platforms of the pointe shoes to prevent slipping while dancing. I would not recommend using to to keep your shoes from slipping off of your heels.

Can I use this on ballet flats?

Can this rosin be used on the sole of my flats? Like on the exterior I mean...Thank you in advance.

There is no reason why you couldn't use these on your flats. Typically the rosin is used on pointe shoes because the satin on the outside of the shoes does not grip the floor. Typical ballet shoes have the suede/leather bottom already that gives a better grip on the floor, not typically needing any extra "rosin" or chemical to make the shoe stick more.

Isn't rosin supposed to enhance friction?

The container reads "to reduce friction", which I am pretty sure is exactly the opposite of what it does.

The use of rosin is to reduce the slippage that can accure while dancing on wood floors, yes it reduces the friction between the dance floor and dance shoes being worn, EX Pointe Shoes
