I am looking to get these ribbons but I am wondering how many packages I need to purchase for my new pair of pointe shoes. For my last pair of pointe shoes I used grishko ribbons and when I went to sew them and found that I needed 1 more package.. or at least that's what my teacher said. What do you think? Any imput would be VERY helpful!
One pair of ribbon should suffice for one pair of shoes, however if you like to cross your ribbon, it may be a good idea to order 2 sets of ribbons. - DDS Customer Service (10/22/2013)
It depends on how wide your ankles are and how loose or tight you like your ribbons. I have only ever needed on package of ribbons in Freed and Grishko, and In general most others only need one. - Lovediscountdance (01/11/2015)
