Adult "Freeform" Modern Shoes

HELLO! I AM CONSIDERING ORDERING THE ADULT "FREEFORM" SLIP-ON JAZZ SHOE BY CAPEZIO! I WEAR 7.5 (SANDALS), FOR 8 ARE TOO WIDE. I'VE READ MIXED REVIEWS ON SIZES RUNNING SMALL OR LARGE... WHAT SIZE SHOULD I ORDER? WILL THESE STRETCH OUT? HOW DO I CLEAN THEM? WILL THESE FREEFORM JAZZ SHOES BE SLIPPERY ON THE DANCE FLOOR? OR WILL MY FEET & SHOES HOLD ME TO THE DANCEFLOOR WHILE OFFERING ME FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT ALSO?! I DO LIKE TO SPIN A BIT, AND LOVE INVENTING MY OWN INTERPRETIVE DANCES, & OCCASIONALLY DANCE WITH OTHERS, BUT I DON'T WANT TO SLIP & FALL DOWN!! THIS IS ALL FOR MY FUN & ENTERTAINMENT IN KEY WEST, NOTHING PROFESSIONAL. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR OTHER SHOES/SLIPPERS FOR ME TO TRY FOR MY NEEDS? The sizing that is recommended by the manufacturer for this shoe is that you order your street shoe size. These will form to your foot as well. The suede sole patches will help with the slipping.

I would get a size 8 these fit fairly tight to your foot and generally run a little small. Yes they do stretch as they are elastic. These might be slippery at first as the bottom will be very clean and smooth but that will go away with your 1st wearing. These shoes don't hold up like a formed dance or jazz shoe as the color might wear off the toes as they are fairly thin BUT will feel like you are in your bare feet. - Krisdancemom (09/05/2014)

The reviews have conflicting references for sizing for this shoe. should you order 2 sizes up for the adult size as well? I wear an 8 street shoe. Some say the color you order plays a part in it as well. I plan on ordering the caramel shoe.

I recommend that you get the street size shoe that you have. I ordered a half of size bigger and they were slipping off my feet. The color doesn't play a part in having a bigger size shoe. - Princess (01/30/2014)

All the reviews about the shoe running small are correct. I do have very small feet, so finding a shoe to conform is difficult for me. I wear a 5-5.5 in a street shoe and order a 6.5 in the Freeforms. The black leather is not quite as supple as the tan and takes longer to stretch. With the tan, they fit very well and are very soft which is an added plus. I would recommend ordering a full size to a size and a half larger than your street shoe in the caramel. - Danceteacher6 (05/05/2014)
